Stan James Promotions - Terms & Conditions

These Promotion Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all Stan James promotions. In the event of any discrepancy or conflict between the Specific Terms and the Standard Terms detailed below, then the Specific Terms will prevail.

Sportsbook - £25 Free Bet

1. If you are entitled to a Free Bet, it will appear in your account as a ‘Free Bet Balance’.
2. These funds are separate from your Account Balance.
3. It is not possible to withdraw your Free Bet Balance.
4. If you wish to place a bet online from your Free Bet Balance, you must tick the Free Bet Balance Checkbox on the Betslip, otherwise our system will attempt to take the funds from your Account Balance or through your debit/credit card.
5. If you wish to place a bet through our Call Centre from your Free Bet Balance, please inform the operator. Otherwise our system will attempt to take the funds from your Account Balance or through your debit/credit card.
6. Free bets are non-stake inclusive.
7. The value of the stake on the first settled bet a new client has with Stan James will be matched with a free bet balance up to a maximum of £25 or currency equivalent.
8. We aim to credit the free bet balance to your account within 24 hours of the settlement on your first bet.
9. Offer does not apply to existing or former account holders and applies to one registration per household.
10. Void bets and Non-Runners do not count as settled bets.
11. The £25 Free Bet relates to the Stan James sportsbook only and not Stans Casino, Stans Poker or Stans Games.

Poker - $500 Sign Up Bonus

1. Each new player is eligible for one deposit bonus. The maximum bonus amount is $500. The minimum bonus amount is $20. Stan James will match new players’ first purchase of Poker chips up to a maximum of $500 and a minimum of $20 where the first purchase is made between 01/07/08 and 31/12/08, inclusive.
2. The value of the bonus is determined by Stan James matching your first deposit into your Poker account. Only your first deposit is matched. Multiple deposits are not matched. A transfer of funds from Sportsbook to Poker will count as a deposit and it will be matched if it is your first deposit.
3. To qualify players must earn Loyalty Points to the value of 25 times the first deposit. Players will have sixty (60) days in which to earn the required amount of Loyalty Points. Should players’ not earn the required amount of Loyalty Points in the sixty (60) day period, players will have a further thirty (30) days to earn the required amount of Loyalty Points in order to receive 50% of their initial chip purchase.
4. Only Loyalty Points which are earned by paying tournament fees and cash game rake will count towards the bonus requirements. Loyalty Points which have been refunded or awarded to players’ as a gesture of goodwill or otherwise will not count towards the bonus requirement.
5. Once they have completed the requirements above, players are required to email poker@stanjames.com including their username to request payment of the 100% match bonus. All valid bonus claims will be paid within 3 working days of receipt of the claim.
6. Only one bonus offer per person, family, household, address, email address, telephone number, debit/ credit account number and shared computer e.g. school, public library or workplace. This offer applies exclusively to the first account opened and will not apply to further accounts opened.
7. Any attempt to abuse the spirit of this promotion will result in the abuser's account being suspended. The offer is available to genuine players only, genuine players being ones that are active/ participating in games with the intention of winning pots. Any players who attempt to abuse this with no intention to actively participate in games will forfeit the right to claim any bonus chips.

Please note: deposit point hands are not the same as rake hands, currently we are unable to show the amount of hands you have accrued, though we update the figures daily, by calling us on our 24 hour freephone number 08000 35 11 39 we can inform you of how many hands you have played that qualify.

Casino - Registration Bonus

1. Make your deposit with the facilities provided and you will have a pending bonus balance of £100 irrespective of the initial deposit value, playable after all necessary wagering requirements are satisfied.
2. Please make the appropriate wagers before bonus is freed to be wagered. They are as follows : Regular Games wagering : 10x the Bonus amount of withdrawable funds. Only the winnings from the bonus are withdrawable. Any available cash balance will be utilised prior to the bonus balance.
3. The following games are excluded from forming part of the wagering requirements: All forms of Black Jack, all forms of Roulette, Baccarat, Casino War, Craps, Three Card Poker, Pai Gow Poker, Casino Stud Poker, Jacks or Better (including Play 4) and Red Dog.
4. A promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer and only one (1) bonus offer can be claimed per person.
5. The player has ten (10) days to play the bonus before the bonus amount becomes void.
6. Stan James reserve the right to discontinue this bonus offer or to change the conditions of its issue and use at any time, without prior notice.
7. Stan James reserve the right to withhold the amount of any bonus issued from a members cash withdrawal.
8. In the event of abuse of this promotional offer Stan James reserve the right to prevent any members or group of members from re-entering the casino.
